In this video i show you how to remove gum from carpet easily with wd 40.
Apply a small amount of wd 40 to the residue.
The wd 40 acts as a lubricant which will loosen the gum s grip on your carpet fibres.
When i was finished spraying and scrubbing no trace of the black sticky gum remained on the carpet and the wd 40 evaporated without leaving a stain behind.
It took several rounds of spraying and scrubbing to remove all of it but in a surprisingly short amount of time the gum easily dissolved and came free of the carpet pile.
Make sure you scrub the stain in the same.
There is no need to let it sit for an hour or longer because it works.
You can also remove chewing gum from carpet using wd 40.
Take a fingernail brush and remove the stain.
Also try some no vac carpet spot stain remover and the sanitiser and deodoriser to remove residue and keep your carpet smelling fresh.
Use the fingernail brush to remove the gum scrubbing in the same direction.
You may need to use your fingers to separate the strands but it will remove chewing gum from carpet more easily than other methods.
Keep applying wd 40 and scrubbing.

Let it sit on the gum for a few minutes.
